Molt Muffin Recipes

Anybody have a favorite chicken molt muffin recipe? I like them simple and inexpensive. I have a few eggs right now but normally prefer to eat them myself, especially during molting season.

Not sure what a molt muffin is, but i feed my mooring birds moths and it seems to curb feather picking

For a heavy molt i buy a bag of higher protein feed,so 20%.

Or I give them salmon scraps.

So.... what can you put in the muffin for a protein boost?

I give mine dry cat food during molt season on a regular basis and I always try to feed high protein feeds. I'm just looking for a new project! I'm finished with flock blocks and am looking for a new challenge!

From what I know, they're just muffins with high protein ingredients and a few other things to hold them together. I've heard of people putting eggs, flaxseed, chia seeds, fat, and lots more things in molt muffins.

I like the recipe from the chicken chick- I make a 1/4 batch at a time to be sure they are fresh since I only have 4 ladies. They absolutely love them!
