Molting already?

hello all!
So I have a Blue Jersey Giant, and she’s about 34 weeks old. Over the past week, she’s been losing a lot of feathers. But, when I look underneath, I see a bunch of pin feathers sticking up. So is this molting? What can I do to help her through it? A bit more protein? How would I provide that. Answers appreciated!

There is a "junior molt" chickens can go through, which is obviously what's going on with your jumbo junior. If you want, you may give her additional animal protein such as mackerel or meat scraps.

Scrambled eggs, sardines and/or yogurt are also high in protein.
