My 6 ladies started laying around mid-summer.
At the end of September they started to slow down on laying.
They started molting, and when they were molting throughout the WHOLE month of October they had all completely STOPPED laying their eggs.
It's nearly at the end of November now, and not one single egg...
I thought maybe at least the best egg layer would lay some, but no eggs....
Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Are there certain foods I can feed them to maybe help them get into the "egg-laying" business?
And if they were all egg-bound, what should I do? What signs should I look for?
I'll go into some details so readers can understand where I'm coming from~
Let's talk about their coop.
Their coop is kept nice and clean, I scrub it down and use the power hose to wash away the waste.
As for their nesting boxes. They use to be filled with pine shavings...
But where I live I'm having trouble finding pine shavings, or hay etc.
So their nesting boxes have been empty for a month or a little bit more.
