Molting baby chick injury

Hello! , I have a baby chick that is going through his first molt and I noticed he has small cuts under his wings, I'm not sure if its from before I got him or if he did these injurys himself while cleaning his feathers, should I take him to a vet? Or is this normal?, they don't look severe but I still worry he might feel uncomfortable

A chicken will not molt until right up before the cold winter weather starts....so fall. They wouldn't be molting as baby chicks

Oh alright, but he's shedding white flakes from his wings. Would that mean he's growing his new feathers? Sorry this is my first time taking care of a chick.

Yeah as they grow in their feathers there is a lot of white stuff from the shafts coming off. As long as she's not bleeding and leaving drops on the ground or colouring her new feathers you should be ok
