Molting hen!!! Please help!!

Some worms like roundworm and tapeworm can be visible in the poop.

A vet might do a fecal float for you (or if you have the equipment you can do it at home).
I had a really bad excperince with vets in my area... (Almost distorying her ability to walk and one of her toes.) I doubt she has worms but ill be mindfull about it and check to make sure there are none. The vet is a liquidy white not brown.

Her poop was just water in the morning but she eats food. We fed her bannanas so that she can mantain weight, plain yogurt (as recommended along with scrambled eggs) still have yet to get the chick feed, but we are going today. Here is a pic of her poop.

If she is eating and drinking normally, she doesn’t need electrolytes. Giving them for more than a couple of days can cause more diarrhea. Her droppings have a lot of clear fluid, so she may just be drinking more water than usual. Is her crop emptying overnight? I would give her some probiotics. If you have cottage cheese, you could offer her a spoonful daily to see if they firm her poop.

Okay.
She is eating and drinking normally, but she keeps drinking water. We fed her some eggs and now her poos have more firm stuff in them. What would probiotics be? I do have cottage cheese, ill feed her some now. What about bananas? To help her gain some weight back? She lost a lot.

I would just give her her usual balanced feed and water, plus probiotics or a little cottage cheese. Probios powder and the generic is sold at TSC and online. Plain Greek yogurt with lice cultures has some probiotics. Cottage cheese can have some as well. Stop the extras (banana, etc.) Egg in moderation. Is okay, but she really needs the chicken feed most. Does your brand of feed already contain probiotics? Many do nowadays.

No I do not think so. Alright ill stop, thank you!

There are a number of powdered probiotics you can add to their water or I've mixed a little into the mash I make with their crumbles. We have Durvet Probiotics and Hydro Hen, but there are several.

Greek yogurt is also good.

We also ferment whole grains, which is high in prebiotics and probiotics.

Probiotics are in most feeds but I still make sure they get some other form of them about twice a week. They are great for digestive tracts and helping to keep good bacteria and flora.
