Our hens are going through their fist full molt. One of the girl just got done with heavy molting and her feathers are coming in. Her comb is very light and slightly flopped over ( she 's a RSL) It also looks dry. Is this normal?

Thanks

I am not sure about the "flopped over" part, but a very pale comb is the norm. They get whitish in color and really dry looking. When the face, wattles and comb redden back up, they will be back to laying full force. :-)

Yep, pale and a little shriveled but it puffs right back up with rising hormone levels.
