Molting hens with pale combs etc.

Hi everyone,
My chickens are molting. I know that they should do this but this year they also have very pale combs and diarrhea. Are they sick? Or is it just the effort into growing feathers taking it out of them? What is the best thing to do for them? I know that supplementing protein is a good plan. Any good ways to do so?

It may just be stress from molting. The best thing to do is get a feed with a higher amount of protein in it. They should get over it soon.
