Molting..how long before they lay again?

I know mine went through their first molt which started about four weeks ago. I still haven't seen any eggs since the molt started.......How long before they start laying again and is there anything I can do to prompt them back into laying...?

It can take anywhere from 1-3 months depending on age and condition of the birds. Some of it is genetics too. You can feed them a higher protein feed like game bird to help them put on feathers faster.

I feel ya, I haven't gotten ANY eggs from one of my flocks in what feels like weeks (30 hens in that group) The seramas blessed me with 2 eggs out of about 10 hens yesterday which was a pleasant surpirse, now we can actually have breakfast, sort of....
