molting in january???

So my flock is 9 months old. My only chicken "molting" is my black. I see no bugs or mites. New shoots coming in. This seemed to happen all of a sudden. She looks pathetic. I am worried that its 36° out. They do have 90% covered run to keep wind, rain and snow out.
Is this uncommon? Is it actually molting? She has no sores or anything else that would look like the flock is picking at her either. appreciated. coloring is dull and brownish too.
Any suggestions, answers and tips would be most appreciated.

Yep, it's common especially in fall and winter. I currently have 2 birds in molt and 2 finishing up molts, all hard molts. My other birds have had mini molts and my newbies havnt molted, but they will later this year. When they go to roost at night in the coop, and if it's very cold, they'll huddle together to keep warm.

thank you! it got me a little worried. I didn't know they molted in winter when they should be keeping warm.
