Molting in summer after breaking broody??

Hi all. I recently broke my chicken from being broody. It really only took me two days with a nice cool bath and putting a soccer ball in her nesting box. She had multiple other nesting boxes she could’ve gone to but I don’t think she figured that out. She did her typical of broody pulling the feathers of her chest. But now it seems like all of her feathers are falling out. She has been preening like crazy and her feathers are all over the run including tailfeathers which her tail is now stumpy like when she molts but it’s not even July until tomorrow lol is she molting? She was going so crazy preing yesterday that I almost would have worried about parasites had it not been that none of my other chickens are itching and scratching at all. I also looked at her vent and didn’t see anything. She is almost 3 years old. Will she just go to a mold as a result of having been Brody? And if so will she mold again when she is supposed to before the winter? Thanks for any info or advice

whoa isn't that unusual? Don't they get their winter coat too early LOL?

Usually I think of them molting in the fall so that the new feathers grow in thick and heavy to warm them in the winter so I guess my concern would be that they will be REALLY hot in August or if they molt again in the middle of the winter.
