I just spent $50 on an electronic rat trap. Caught 1 the first night and the second night some helped themselves to my bait.

A bad chicken mom would be one who knew and noticed all those things and didn't take care of them. You are in fact a good chicken mom!
Payed attention and took care of everything you could as it came up instead of letting it fester out of control.
