Molting? Mites? Mating?? Loss of Feathers...

I have a 3 year old hen that has her feathers breaking off, They arn't falling out they are breaking at the end. Is it mites, molting, or mating??

Any suggestions would be nice.......thank you.

It looks like she's just molting. Those feathers look like new feathers coming in.

I would agree. Molting.

Those look like pin feathers to me, which means she is molting and those are just the new feathers coming in. You should see them continue to grow during the next week or so. The white outer coating will break off as the feather grows in.
