I have a bantam cochin/silkie cross that turned 2 years old in April. She has never molted, has a lot of broken feathers in her wing area. She lost feathers around her neck area so that area is thin but not bald and she has had a bald belly for months because she went broody. Do all chickens molt? And if yes, any ideas when she might go through her first big molt? I live in Southern California so does seasons or lack there of have any effect on molting? Opinions and experiences please
