Molting Silky Chickens

Hi all.
My silkies have been molting for awhile now. I'm wondering if there is some nutrient I can give them that will help their feathers grow in faster?

I heard black oil sunflowers seeds can help during periods of molting. I have silkies and don't do anything special when they molt.

A little extra protein may help, and the birds will enjoy it.
