So I got my chicks in march and they have been laying since they were 17 weeks old, will they molt this year? and if so is there any thing special I am suppose to do to make it easier for them and do I change there food or any thing. I am a first timer.

Welcome! Your pullets will molt when they are ready, and if you have a mix of breeds, it's more likely that times will vary. Feathers everywhere! I feed an all-flock diet, Purina Flock Raiser, 20% protein, with separate oyster shell, to all my birds all year. It's good for all birds, with no need to alter diets for different sexes, ages, or laying or non-laying hens. Mary
