Molting?!?

We have an older Barred Rock hen who is the leader of our flock (we think she's around 4 years old). She molted quite a bit in late October, but in the last couple of days, it seems like she's molting again. We had a mild winter until the first week of February. That's when the temps went down and we had 3 feet of snow. It has been snowing off and on since. Could it be the odd weather we are having that could cause her to lose her feathers or can they go into a second molt in one year/season? I'm not sure if we should be worried that she's sick or if this is normal. Thank you for any and all advice in advance!

They can have a soft molt or a hard molt. I have one who seemed to molt for a year. As long as you see pin quills you’ll be fine. Just keep an eye on her.

Could also be worms
