Learn to graft. Pear are fairly easy. Rooting pear cuttings failed for me. An easy way to get a rootstock is dig up a small feral/wild flowering pear or buy any pear tree from a box store. Graft onto the new tree.Day 2 of boiling sap, I think I’ve done about 35 gallons so far and have another 35ish sitting in a cooler.

Also started some English primrose and zinnia seeds inside. Our pear tree has been looking sad the past few years so I’ve decided to try and clone it with fresh dormant cuttings and rooting hormone. No clue if it will work but worth a try.
