What did you do in the garden today?

I dug a 5 gallon bucket of weeds and gave them to the chickens. I also saw some honeybees on the winter aconite flowers.

I'm so sore that I can hardly move...

BUT...

I finally got my broccoli, cauliflower, and kale starts in the ground!

It was a lot of work because I had to clear all the scrub out of the garden, put down about 4 inches of new compost, put up down black plastic as weed barrier, put in new garden hoops, and THEN put in the new plants and cover with netting.

Ended up with 8 plants leftover so I had to weed out another bed inside the hoop house so I could put the extras in there. Saw some cutworms so I made collars for all the plants in there.

Then I top dressed a bunch of mineral tubs and other beds with several inches of compost.

Took a 5-gallon bucket of weeds to the bunnies who were delighted. Gives me a new reason to be motivated to weed...

Fitbit says I had over 15k steps and almost 300 Active minutes today.

So yeah.... I'm sore.

I'm right there with you @TJAnonymous . I spent the weekend building a new shop work desk table for DH. I'm good as long as I keep moving, I stop and UGH man, oh man do I hurt.
Now I'm sitting here looking online to see if Menards has the heavy duty shelving I want.

I like the fire pit on the top of the push mower. If you had another old push mower you could make it into a flower pot and put it in the area of the fire pit.
