molting???

We have six pullets [6 months] and we are now getting eggs from all of them.
My question is, in central florida, when will they start to molt---will they all molt at the same time and how long does the molting last?
Also, do they all stop laying when they molt.
Any thoughts on this will be of great help.

The molt will last a few weeks and if they are the same age, they will probably all go through it at the same time, and they will most likely stop laying during that time. It takes another couple of weeks afterwards for the feathers to all return. The temps in Florida are very different from Utah......but my hens usually molt in the early spring. Make sure they get a healthy diet during that time as well.
