Molting

4 of my hens have started molting for the first time and they have also stopped laying. Is there anything I should do to assist them? They are usually pretty energetic but not they are like "Just leave me alone" Should I switch them to a better feed or add anything to their diet? I really would like to help them as much as I can!!

It is normal for a hen to stop laying while molting. The stress of losing feathers may also cause a usually calm and energetic hen to become either aggressive or weak (or both).
You should not be worried, but you can feed them higher nutrition feed or give them extra tasty treats.
