Hi! Can I ask what you mean by a "pinch" of kelp? My ladies have gone eggless now for near a month. They look fine but both shut off production on the same day! puzzled...

If they're the same age, related, and purebred, you can expect a lot more synchronicity.

A pinch is whatever is stuck between thumb and finger when I reach into the bag and pinch.

It doesn't need to be exact. It's not much at all, and for two hens, you could safely say a half-teaspoon in their feed per day isn't overkill, it's probably more than sufficient.
