Mom and three ducklings. Do I need to get a hen/drake for the mom?

I keep hearing that ducks should not be alone. I figured my 'mom' and her 3 ducklings are a good set up. Do I need to get another mature duck or is the current set up good?

Your current set up sounds great as long as they have a secure night time house to protect from preds, your mama duck has company in the way of her babies and probably at this point would not appreciate another adult duck put into the mix. please post pics of the happy family when you get a chance,.

So relieved to hear that. She behaves like she is but again, I dont know much about Ducks but my own motherly instinct tells me she is not feeling stressed over missing her mate.
