I have Anconas that started to seem broody. I didnt think they were serious about it and didnt pay alot of attention to dates.
There were two nests forming. Suddenly someone became very serious about it. I candled and found eggs in each nest that were in multiple stages of development. I put the ones that seemed the most viable and closed in development under one mom.
She hatched This cutie overnight but is still sitting on the nest. No one else has pipped but i think there are at least two that I see alot of vigorous motion in.
Anyone else experience this? Obviously if she decides to stop sitting its game over. But is there a point at which i should take them from her even though i see motion inside?
