These chicks cane from a Gold laced wyandotte mom and an unknown dad. Any clues as to what they are mixed with?
The one with more black on its neck is a rooster, the other one is a hen.

That would be next to impossible to know.

I know there were buff orpingtons, Ameraucanas, silkies, red sex links, cochins, and maybe more but I’m not sure. The guy I got the eggs from had loads of roosters. I keep thinking they look like brahmas with the dark feathers, but they don’t have feathered feet. Is there another buff coloured bird with dark neck and tail?

I don't think the father was a buff Orpington because all of these have bright yellow legs, and Orpingtons are a white legged breed. White legs/skin is the dominant allele and yellow is recessive, so I don't think all would have yellow legs if an Orp was the father.

Buff Plymouth rock or New Hampshire would be my best guesses for fathers just from the looks of them.

Ok! I am not good with crosses or genetics, as you can tell. ;)

Buff Orp is a great guess. I just remembered that bit of genetics by accident, pretty much, but as Moonshiner said, it is pretty much impossible to know the parentage unless you know the exact make up of the flock from which the bird originated.
