Momma DID it!

Well, 28 days ago, I decided to put one turkey egg under Momma, my black frizzle cochin. She was just so set to be broody..so I thought, why not? I went out today...and saw this!

Awwww....she did it. AND, there are a few of her own eggs, and her coop mate eggs under there as well. I saw one empty shell, from the banty eggs....so far. GO Momma GO!!

They are so cute! My very first broody ever just hatched out 4 chicks of her own (well she thinks they are but they came from other hen eggs) She's doing a great job with them too

HAHAHAHA, I had a little game hen hatch a goose egg. In a weeks time the gosling was as big as mama. In a month, well, you know. Funny, no matter how big baby gets, mama is still mama. You`re gonna have fun with this one.

Awesome! I always say that broody hens make the best incubators.
