I KNEW when to hit him up with THAT one. I waited until he had a 102 degree temp with the flu the other day to tell him we are 'expecting'. HOLY COW he didnt even flinch. I really expected a fight once again, to get the silent treatment for at least a day or two, but when I hold up a cherry popcicle when he is on 'deaths bed' and give him a decision - popcicle and chicks or drymouth and fever? he took the cicle n chicks.

Na, just kidding. He was sick though when i told him. He just rolled his eyes at me. He knows how much they mean to me.

That and his customers keep coming over for eggs instead of to have their car looked at (we have a garage- he's a mechanic)!!!!!!

I have had two sets of chicks since him. he didnt go after them, but he wasnt thrilled either. I wouldnt want to leave him alone with any of them for fear he would peck one and kill it on accident or purpose. When they are out in the companion pen next to the full grown ladies, when they were about 13 weeks old they seemed ok together.

Ok so today i get a UPS package. hmmmm.. didnt order anything? opened it up and the cutest little package wrapped in baby wrapping paper with little pink bows all over it!!!!! i tore it open and found a new baby chick feeder....
