I know, i wanted to start putting things together a few weeks ago. It's so funny. hmmm... mine will be 14weeks when you get yours, so then i can watch yours day by day because mine will be out of the fluffyness stage.

So what did you end up getting?

My current list is 1 Silver Gray Dorking, 1 Light Brown Leghorn, 1 Exchequer Leghorn, 1 Ancona, 1 Golden Campine, 1 Egyptian Fayoumi, 1 Silver Lakenvelder, (and one little surprise). I was on the verge of adding a naked neck to my order, too, but apparently, Meyer's stopped carrying them.

Naming rights going on already!... I have named the Sultan 'Victoria' - after Queen Victoria who absolutely adored ornamental chickens! especially Sultans.

My DH has picked two names for the BR's, but i will NOT post them here. just like a man....

13 days and COUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Victoria is a lovely name, well suited for a lady!

My brother and sister don't have much talent for naming, either. My sister thought of some real gems, such as Dot (who she named after that white spot on the hen's head that turned out to be poo) and Chickie (which, yeah, is so creative). Meanwhile, my brother named Cub because she was brown as a chick (like a bear cub, I guess..?). Though from the context, I'm gathering you mean he picked out something vulgar.

Eek, I can't wait to see the little fuzzies!! e I've got fuzzy-butt fever!
