I got home from work and all is well. The girls have all survived the day! the one Sultan looks better, they are all picking at food and pooping . Here's the clan today!

My baby chicks aren't coming until the 6th of May, and seeing all your babies, makes me wish they were coming sooner!

Victoria and i have a special thing already. She wants held wants in my hands, on me all the time. Just sits down and stares up at me. Just makes my heart melt to tears.

Aw that's so sweet. I love those fuzzy cheeks. They are all adorable.

day 5 and all is well in the baby fluffy butt world. Seems like the pasty butts have pretty much subsided. Last night they were all running about like little monsters!!!! the EE is the biggest of the group and seems to pick on the others. new feathers, feet, etc. I hope we are not going to have an issue with this.

Victoria is the sweetest girl I have ever had. she looks up at me from the box with these big eye and just stares at me. I have made the box so that I can open the end of it up and lay down to put my face and arms inside so that they get used to me. Victoria runs up to me looks at me and fell asleep cuddled in the arm of my sweatshirt last night. I am wondering if she is a little 'Derpy'? She is a little 'slower' than the rest, smaller than the rest (including her sister Sultan).

Oh, be sure to keep an eye on her and make sure nothing's wrong that's causing her to be slower and smaller! I think, though, that some breeds are just 'Derpy'.

As for the EE, I almost always have one that's like that. She's just curious. You can put a red light in your brooder to help alleviate pecking.

Oh, pipd, I know just how you feel. I'm talking to my Mom about chickens and she goes, it's like six more weeks 'til they get here! I go 'Now Mom, 41 days to be exact.' XD
