Momma goat (6-month old kids) with HUGE, hot, engorged udder. Help!!!

Yes just spray. No rubbing. What kind of carrier oils do you have? Probably anything will work. You know what you are doing with the oils. Don't sweat it, Girl!

She has to be milked. At least milk enough to relieve the pressure, and allow her to dry up. If you don't relieve that pressure, you can end up with a ruined udder.

Well, we milked her yesterday morning (not all the way, just enough for the udder to become soft again). We also withdrew all grain for 24 hrs, and let her have nothing but hay and some brush.
I treated her with a homeopathic remedy called "Bryonia", which is used in human mothers, who have breast issues due to weaning (This was an experiment. I just happened to still have some from when my kids were weaned). We continually checked her temp, and it never went over 101.7.
Well, today I'm happy to say that she's fine, her udder is soft, and she's back to her old self. Phew...! That scared me! I guess you learn as you go. Thanks to you all for helping us out!

After all this.....I am now drying off my doe. I have HAD IT! She is horrible to milk and after 2 weeks of H E double hockey sticks....I'm done with her. I hope it goes as well as yours did.
