Momma Hen and New baby with LICE

I recently put my Cochin banty Cotton in a crate by herself to hatch her baby. It hatched last night, and as I was inspecting it this morning, I found quite a few lice on baby and a bunch on Momma Cotton. I'd like to know if there are any treatment options available for mother and chick. I am resistant to using any pesticides since baby is so young, but I don't want those bugs crawling all over them either. Is washing the mother with kitten flea/tick shampoo an option? If I need to wait to treat them, how long should I wait?

I would use some Sevin Dust and lightly dust both of them and where they lay.
