momma hen is a sweetheart.. has 2 chicks can i add two others?

my momma hen is lovely. She has 2 one week olds and i want to add 2 one week olds from a friends broody ..what are the chances of heraccepting them?

I have a Red Star Momma hen that had 2 baby chicks that were around 2 weeks old and she took 2 others also. she is a very good Momma though. Sounds like your is sweet to. I would try to do it at night and stick them under her and she should hopefully take them.

I added an ophpan to my mamma and chicks and they are great. the orphan was about a week older than hers.
