Just updating to document how the chick is doing and what the injury looks like now. The photos actually make it look worse I think, but “coconut” is doing super good. Total normal chick behavior, active, eating, etc. I have her with other chicks now for awhile and they aren’t even picking at it.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and shared knowledge. I’ve been using the Vetericyn spray now everyday for about 3 times a day. It’s been 5 days since the injury.
