momma just hatched 4 chicks - now what?

I can't keep the chicks, so I plan on re-homing them. But, I want her to get her "fill" being a new mom. How long should I let her keep the chicks?

Many hens begin distancing themselves from their chicks around 4 or 5 weeks after hatching, so that might be a good time to look for homes for them...when she begins losing interest.
