Gammas Bearded Babies
Crossing the Road
A l m o s t finished!
This monitor roof coop is patterned after @3KillerBs past coop - awesome design btw!
My son-in-law is makin a great effort at building this thing with little construction skills and only pics n drawings to go by...no plans - so don't look too close.
My question is regarding the ventilation - specifically for winter.
The roof obviously isn't on yet...but the entire coop is 9.5'x4' and approximately 7' or 8' tall. The area on the monitor will be open on front and back ends as well as on the sides which is roughly 8"x4' ...unsure of the front and back measurements at this time. It will have hardware cloth securing this area as well. I had read on another post that the high areas should be covered during winter...but I thought that would be defeating my monitor roof purpose.
Here are a few pics...one from inside the 10'x20' run as well as the most recent from last night showing more construction.
(Yeah the run isn't level - thanks hubby! But will fix that come spring)
Thank yall for your patience and understanding as I learn!
