Monroe, WA WFF Show Meetup/Potluck! Join us!!

OK PEEPS let me add a bit here. First Thank you Jessica for doing this thread.
IN the past there have been several picnic tables that we were able to use. I can't confirm they will be there but have been in the past.

There are electrical outlets for things like crockpots. NO MICROWAVE ! ! ! ! In the past JB has brought her own.

MY suggestion is IF you want to bring a HOT dish heat it at home and keep warm by wrapping in layers of towels.

IN the past it has been we get there when we can. We have tried to be prepared and eat about noonish!

IF I am able to make it I will bring Sweet n sour roadkill !

I won't know until Monday if I have to work or not. If I can make it, I will bring my chili cream cheese dip, and smokies wrapped in bacon... Nom nom nom!

I will see what I have in plastic utensils, and put me down for 3-4 2 liters of drinks too, along with the Texas Caviar and chips.

NOTE TO ALL We need to contact show staff and ask where we can have our gathering. In the past it has been in the large room just off the show floor. We need to remember WE ARE GUESTS of the WFF club. Therefore we need to be respectful of their wishes too.

MARCH 16th, 2013 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds

Here's the official website for the show: http://washingtonfeatherfanciers.webs.com/wffspringshow.htm

Hello all, sorry it's getting so close to the show and I haven't started our thread yet! This will make it much easier to arrange for food, tables, chairs, and a covered tent. Please post what you will be bringing and I"ll outline stuff in this post as people add to this thread. ALL ARE WELCOME, as are ALL FOOD TYPES! New, old, young, old, please come meet everyone!!

My family will be bringing:
Chairs for our family (everyone should bring their OWN CHAIRS if you prefer to sit while eating)
Some sort of gluten free, dairy free, soy free food.

Here's what I would love non-cooking people to volunteer to bring:
A table for the food
Paper plates (Slinglings)
Paper bowls (Slinglings)
Plastic cups (Breshcandra)
Napkins (Slinglings?)
2L drinks (8-10) (KMHunter 3-4)
Disposable silverware

I will put your name next to the item if you claim it

Food from others:
Veggie platter and dips (HoneySuckleHills)
Kale Salad with garlic-tahini dressing (GF/CF/SF); deviled eggs (GF/CF/SF) (Rainmom)
Cold cut/cheese tray (Walady944)
Peanut butter fudge (SadieSue)
Pillsbury Easter chick cookies, Texas Caviar and chips (GF) (KMHunter)
gluten free chips and hummus dip (bikerchicky)
Cake (CarolynF)
Almond butter cookies (TurtlePowerTrav)
Blueberry Muffins (terrorbird)
Potato soup (GF) (hinotori)
Sweet n sour roadkill (Chicken Rustler)
MAYBE - chili cream cheese dip, and smokies wrapped in bacon (TacomaFarms)

Hey- I've been asked to save eggs for the local school here to incubate, so would like to retract my deviled eggs and bring some almond-flour chocolate chip cookies, but it looks like we're over-run with desserts? I could make some sort of main dish or vegetation to share, since it looks like that's what is in short supply?
