Monsanto article and our food (edited to include video, post #8)

Doesn't a well written article need to contain both sides of an issue? This one certainly doesn't.
Just another biased, one sided rant.

Yes, but it is a polite little rant...

HUH? I've seen very little if any ever posted here that came directly from "the other side".....Monsanto themselves. They do talk about these issues on their website however.

I disagreed with the article being well-written since it's only from one side of the argument.....if both sides aren't represented how can it be well written? To me it's then only more propaganda.

Your point is well taken. The article does represent the side that I believe. Others may not agree at all.

My concern comes from a fear of losing control of my life in the way I believe health should be managed. I want to be able to choose unadulterated foods for healing and maintaining good health. I'm afraid of losing that option.

I'm almost afraid to start this, but here goes: Historically, there have been elements of organized religion that used fear to control masses of people. As that strategy no longer is easy (as spirituality is not a one religion practice any longer), the powers at be seem (at least seem to ME) to be using health and health care for mass control. I for one, don't want my food or medicine controlled by entities that have money or power as their primary motive.

I mean no disrespect to any religion or business that puts the best interest of their followers or customers first. I mean no disrespect to any readers that may disagree with me. I may be wrong and I hope I am, but I'm just not willing to bet my grandchildrens' quality of life on it...

I found a great video. Its a little long but really good (IMO). About 2/3 of the way through it talks about corporations and who is in charge; it makes you think. Anyway, I liked the video...
