Don't ya just love those big eggs!!! One of my runner ducks lays me double yolkers atleast twice weekly. Last month I got a triple yolker and boy was I thrilled.... the rest of the family thought I'd gone over the edge but hey it wasn't the first time...lol

The world record for number of yolks in one egg was NINE!!!!!!!!!

The largest egg had a diameter of 9 inches and had 5 yolks! The heaviest egg was 1 pound with a double yolk and a double shell!

I get at least 2 or 3 of those big eggs a week and they are always double yolk

One of our RedStars gave us this monster on Sunday. My husband weighed it for me. It weighed 3.11oz or 88.3 grams. Ouch!

Yeah... everytime I find one of these, I scan the lot for a carcas. I can't believe they can lay these and live! I'm pretty sure Red did this. She loves to be petted and talked to. I wonder if she did it on purpose.
