That would be so cool. I have a Black Jersey Giant cockerel and an Easter Egger cockerel. Ok that does it, it's going in the incubator with the CCLs and Crele Penedesencas that just arrived.

Be sure to check out some of the other twinning hatches, or put out an all-call request for advice from people who have had successful twin hatches. It might "up" the chances for yours!

I often wondered if double yolks had any chance of hatching, great to here that a few have had success with twins! I got my 1st ever triple yolk egg this week. Well actually I didn't, but I put a really big egg in a carton I gave to neighbor & in a few hours she was calling to tell me of her prize.

Out of curiosity I've gotten in the habit of weighing my larger eggs. They typically run 55-60g. I have 4 Jersey Giants pullets (3 black, 1 Blue) and I assume they're laying those eggs. I saw this egg and I was shocked at the size, so of course I had to weigh it. And yes, this came from a chicken, I only have chickens. I say that because a friend I texted the picture too thought I got ducks or turkeys to get an egg that big

My 2 wyandottes usually lay eggs in the upper 60s to 70s. Yesterday we got a whopping 93 gm egg! Ouch! I had it for breakfast today. It was a double yolk.
