Monster egg

It's one of those things where I realize I shouldn't, but I'm very intrigued . . . so I might do it just this once. Seeing the chick, if it hatches, would also help me narrow down which of my girls is laying the double yolker so I can keep an eye on her.
I totally would, in the name of science. Of course, yes….um…science. That’s it.

I apparently dont have enough drama in my life bahahaha.

Or will it end up needing extra air? Perhaps it would do better to let that one dry out a bit extra, to make the airsack bigger.
I already do a dry hatch. I'm wondering if it still developing, but day 10 is tomorrow . . . one more day to candle :barnie

Ahhh!! It's aliiive!!! 👾
I think thats 2, but you have much more candling experience than me lol. So exciting! I even saw movements!
I can tell when a chick is growing, but couldn't say if it's wing, head or butt that just wiggled.

It does look like two distinct heads though and plenty of room for growth 🤞

I think heads too.. they pinch in at the bottom of the shadow!
I find it interesting that this monster egg somehow ended up timed the same as mine, I will watch for your results at the same time as seeing mine hatch.

Just monitor the egg and chick and give the normal 13% loss of original weight by day 18 weight loss. You have a starting weight. Dry hatch until almost day 18 if needed.
