Monster egg!!

I have a hen that has laid 2 of the double yoke eggs, her normal eggs don't fit in a large egg carton she is supposed to be a red star sex link but I measured her the other day she is 22 inches tall and weighs close to 11 lbs so I am not sure, but we do love her eggs and she lays one of the double yokes and then a regular egg the next day.

Is it normal for a hen to occasionally lay such a large egg?? Or would there be an underlying issue that might cause this? We had black stars, rocks, wyandottes, leghorns, jersey giants, and a few others when I was growing up. NEVER saw something like that! We would get double yokers, but they were just plain jumbos. Anyway, I just wondered.
