monster sized egg!

I had to let the ducks out extra early yesterday so in the dark I walk over to my exhibition rouen's nesting spot to grab her egg and picked up what felt like a baseball! The poor girl left a 5 oz egg! I brought it in to show my husband and his exact words were "what the hell did that come out of, a dinosaur?". It is so big and beautiful I don't want to sell it.

Ok, here it is next to a large chicken egg. I tried to find one of the same shape (round as opposed to long). My mom asked me if she had a blowout in the trapdoor after that... She's fine. Even left me an egg this morning too.

I'm pretty sure. She's short, long bodied, deep keel, blue wing stripe, and quacks. Lol
