So my soon-to-be 4yr-old daughter asked for a Monster themed birthday party. Challenge accepted, Little One!

My daughter wants to wear her Mummy/Vampire costume from Halloween, and she wants her father to be Frankenstein. She is a classic monster fan, for sure!

Now, we're about as far from Halloween as possible...which makes Monster decorations/favors/etc hard to come by. That is why the Internet Gods/Goddesses created Pinterest & DIY Tutorials! Mu-ha-ha!

I am now prepared with plans for projects that'll turn this birthday party into a scary good time for all. I just spent $33 at The Dollar Tree (everything is $1) on items I get to turn into awesome Monster decorations. I will try to photo document the process (for the fun of it), and I'll post the pics here if anyone is interested.

PS: I have one week to complete everything...Wish me luck!

Happy Birthday, little one!

Thank you!

And thanks for asking about the party. It's been one crazy week, and yesterday was the big PARTY. I will post pics ASAP (uploading them now).

I can just imagine a bunch of little monsters running around. The snacks would be so much fun!
Nice time of year for a Halloween party! no snow suits over the costumes.

No one was dressed up, as my daughter didn't announce her theme until a week before the party. We also kept it simple with the snacks (no themed food, except for the punch)...again, because of the short notice. But next time, we'll be prepared. Still waiting on the pics to finish loading.

Thanks! My daughter loved the decorations, and so did her guests. All-n-all, the party was a success!
