here are the cream Legbar sires.

I have many cockerels. I have Cream Legbars and Birchen Marans cockerels that will populate my freezer if they don't get homes.

I would prefer to re home. Cant seem to bring myself to cull :/

Here is the sire of my Marans. They lay a nice dark chocolate egg, say a 6 on the Marans scale, perhaps a 7 occasionally. The Legbars lay blue eggs, and when you put a Legbar rooster over a brown egg layer, you get an olive egger.

Sadly, I only need a few roosters for next breeding season. Hatch rates are 50/50, and hardly anyone buys cockerels.

I actually did great with my hatch. Only had 3 cockerel out of 9. Just trying to give them away for the table.

So I just wanted to say hi to all of you from Montana! I'm from western MT originally. Plains MT, west of Missoula, south of Kalispell to be specific but am over the border in North Dakota now. I still come back a few times a year though. So hi to all you Montanan's.

Love your Legbar's! I have one cockerel and 2 poulets that are about 7 wks old now. Our cockerel looks alot like the one in the top picture and I just love the little topnots on our girlies!

I like my Legbars a lot too! I just brought some new roosters in from a separate flock, so I'm really excited about next spring chick season!

this is Eli, my new cockerel, one of 3 I brought from an unrelated flock. I'm super pleased to see how he finishes out!
