I do understand that Elector psp is 44.2% and Monterey Garden Spray (spinosad) is 0.5%.
I've read some articles here, and seen some conversions of how to use it.
My question is, are they similar enough to use the Monterey?
Is the Monterey safe (no bad ingredients added that are dangerous to chickens)?
And does anyone know if the Monterey is a similar price... or is Elector psp a better price?
They have the Monterey at my local garden store for $98 per gallon.
Thank you!

This screenshot was what I saw on how to use it.
I'm also just double checking, I saw someone mention to see if the Monterey had Petroleum or something (something that was toxic and fatal to chickens) in the "other ingredients". Which is terrifying to me.
Has anyone used the Monterey safely?
Thank you!

Most here you'll find use Permethrin (garden) powder or spray. That's much cheaper and is very effective against mites and lice.

Treatment needs to be repeated in 7 to 10 days. It isn't harsh or harmful to chickens, just not good for cats.

If you buy the powder, one trick for doing the chickens is to put it in an old sock and pat it on the chicken, making sure to get the vent, under the wings, and neck area well.
