Moon’s first time incubating eggs, and also Hatch-Along!

I lied. I couldn't sleep. I watched and talked to the hatching eggs as a few of them hatched a bit away from the due date :x

Well, only egg 4 and 14 is actively hatching but they're speed at it! 10 minutes and already tons of progress.
Egg 4 is set for 29th April then, maybe a laid 28th egg.

The two are shaking like crazy, going to be fully out soon. Both seem to be siblings(like full-blood siblings) as speckled brown eggs all seem to come from the same hen. Well it seems not only the speckled brown eggs look pretty, but the chicks from it pip early and strong too. I’ll note that. Maybe the mom will be great breeder :)
Hardiness is good.

Unfortunately my fav eggs from some of my fav hens are not even pipping yet. The white eggs have zero crack. All of them. Worrying but uhhhh, different breed different gestation I guess. I thought leghorns would’ve hatch sooner, they’re smaller! But I guess not.

My jaw is on the floor right now. Nobody told me newborn chicks are so speedy.

Anyway they’re crying loud but for my grievance the brooder was not prepared fully. A place to stay, food and water recently bought but the fricking “trust the lamp will work” “heat” lamp that my mom brought out doesn’t work. It had been on for hours already the temp was not near enough for chicks(she’s so misinformed she think slightly hotter room temp will work cos of last batch 😭) My stupid ahh should’ve bought another heat lamp regardless tbh I was like “yeah heat lamp a bit costly let just wait till chicks pip” 😔

Idk where the heating fan is but I can do enclosed radiator room or wait till tomorrow to buy a heat lamp. I am just so worried the chicks running laps around the 360° incubator and breaking their neck I am so panicked!!!

Wait. Chicks hatched and the humidity spike to 80%?! No way!

Guess I’ll sneak in hand fast to remove the egg shell. Those looks cluttering.

Then it’s light out so the chicks could sleep, and so do me I have work tmr lmao gotta love surprises in the middle of the night though. Hope I can keep track of these two. I want to tell them apart haha.

Heard the news while at work from sibling but finally get to come home and see the new babies! Idk what’s the order of hatch of the rest but here’s the firstborn!

It got its father silly amount of leg feathering 😭

The close secondborn, basically hatched 1 min after the first.

They spent 10+ hours without another hatched so really early hatchers
Then the rest.

Check more image down below I am too tired to post it seperately.
