Star walked into camp and nodded a quick greeting to Ice.

“I’m not jumping into that thing!” he protested with a snort of amusement. “Besides, I can wash it off in other ways. And it went okay, I guess. I didn’t really give her a chance to say anything. I apologized for what I said, which is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and told her about Wild. Then I left.”

Ice licked her ear and noted she was a bit distracted. "Is everything alright?"

She snorted. "Bet she was surprised."

Luna laughed with him, then when it became quiet again and she realized she had been looking at him for a rather long time, she looked away and to her paws, feeling her pelt go hot

“I think I’ve been alone enough,” she shrugged. Or at least, I thought I was.

He caught her staring and smirked in amusement, remembering what Wild had said. Well, we’ll see what happens, I guess. There’s nothing more to be done.

"Okay." He woofed. "That must have been a surprise... Smoke apologizing to you."

She flicked his ear with her tail. "Don't smirk at me!" She woofed teasingly before getting to her paws. She looked around for a stream then found one that was nearby. Gathering her strength, she plowed into him and knocked him into it with a laugh. "There, now you won't have Star scent all over you."
