“Nothing really.. I just wanted to introduce myself.. I’m Kaori” she spoke calmly, her eyes glued on the slightly scraggly wolf. “I think I’ve seen you before though... weren’t you in that one pack..?” Kaori asked, questioning her memory.

"No pack. Never had one, never will be in one. Can't trust other wolves." Lucien's eyes were absolutely stuck on the she-wolf, unblinking in fear that if he did, something would happen.
Slowly, he picked up his rabbit and backed away, never once turning around as he retreated.

After a while, he heard voices. It sounded like Wild, Star (he stiffened), and someone else he didn’t recognize. He quickened his pace until he was looking right at them. “Hello,” he said stiffly.

Ice's neck fur raised and he moved in front of both she-wolves. "It's her decision what Pack she wants to be in. You can't force her to do anything, and I wouldn't blame her for choosing our Pack over yours." He snarled coldly

“So you are Ice,” he growled, looking over Ice’s shoulder to look Star in the eyes. “This is who you chose, hm? Someone to protect you from every little thing? Clear your path? I thought you could take care of yourself. That’s what our parents taught us!”

“Our parents also taught me that it wasn’t my place to question anything!” Star retorted tearfully. “I chose my own path. Is this what you choose?”

“I choose not to speak to any traitors of my pack, yes,” Smoke snarled. “Find your own way back,” he snapped at Wild, whirling around to leave. He slightly regretted what he had said, but there was no way he was taking it back. Star may have been his sister, but now she was part of another pack. She was his enemy.
