Well, it appears that I will be getting some more babies to either be born on the 5th of September or will be delivered on that day. Was talking with Ideal and Carol said something about the 5th, but I can't remember which one it was. Regardless we are getting some cochins and my white crested black polish that didn't come in the last order. I'm excited but at the same time stumped where we will put them when they get old enough. Already have 2 coops with separate runs. The big question will be which coop to put them in when they outgrow the brooder box and are old enough to be with the big girls.

This is kinda like being a mom all over again except not all the hard work. Still just the same, this will be my third batch since March. Well, it will be interesting and my husband is so excited about getting a partridge cochin. The smile on his face said it all tonight when he got home from work. Just thought I'd let everyone know that we're adding to the family once again!

Congratulations on your new babies.

You need to get/build a transition pen/tractor for your babies for after they get out of the brooder and until they are old enough to go in with the older chickens. You can put it inside the pen where the others can see the teens and get used to them.

I would eventually put the new ones in the pen of chickens that are closest in size to them.
