More horse help, please

I'd go with up around 99%.

We seem to have an excess of very average horses and a .... what's the politically correct term from economics? A 'negative excess' of owners.

Believe me - there has never been and will never be a stud horse on this property. I was hesitant to take him so fresh cut. It has been over 6 weeks now (closer to about 8) and my vet said he would be shooting blanks if my mare happened to let him that close -but no worries about that, even during her full blown flirting heat she tried to take him out for nipping her.

He did fine this morning. I led him by his halter and he walked politely. I poured the feed and had him wait, then hand fed him a treat and let him go. I am off work with few to no plans the next 2 days, so we will be doing some more in hand work.

In the meantime, know anyone looking for a pretty little gelding to adopt?
