More McMurray Mystery Chicks

1 speckled sussex? Are those white specks on her/him?
2 Black Giant because of the long back and I dont see the feathers on the legs
3 yellow legs could be anything. Has the shape of a Andalusian but yellow legs? What color ears and what type comb?
4 Could be Phoenix or Modern Game
Do we get something if we win?

I sure would be interested to see what they turn out to be.
click on the pic to enlarge it and you will see the feathered legs ;)

#1. I don't think it is a Speckled Sussex as I have a couple of those already and he/she doesn't look like them at all. Perhaps a Speckled Sussex cross? Say a Sussex hen crossed with a Plymouth rock rooster?

#2. Jersey Giant. Could be. Is he a he? Could it be an Australorp?

#3. I am not sure what colour the ears are and he/she really doesn't have any comb at all.

#4. I still have no idea. Definitely a rooster.

#4 looks exactly like my EE rooster that we got from McMurray ... feathering and legs are the same. I might add he is the gentlest roo we've ever owned.

#3 looks like a blue andalusian ... but I didn't know McMurray did those.

The other two, I don't know. They have several black birds and it's hard to tell from their drawings, instead of photos, of birds.
Good luck.

If number 3 has a rose comb, my vote is blue Wyandotte. Number 2 - need to know whether or not it has feathered legs and what kind of comb it has. Number 1 - ???? Got me on that one, not a clue. Number 4 - again, depending on comb type, it could be a BBR Phoenix or BBR Yokohoma or EE.

Actually I think they do. They were listed on their site last March when I did my order. And #2 looks most definitely like a sumatra.

Sorry about the screwy quote. I hate when I get that editor.
